Androscoggin Code of Conduct 2014/15

 

Respectful  

Respectful is when you are most polite to

your classmates and the people around you.

But also be kind to your teachers and

attempt to be on your best behavior.

 

  • Eyes on the speaker

  • Respect others around you

  • Be respectful to your tools, treat them properly

  • Be respectful to your teacher, listen to directions

  • Be respectful to your laptop, treat it properly

  • Don’t say comments that will hurt other people

  • Treat others the way you want to be treated, “GOLDEN RULE”

  • Think before you speak

  • Be aware of the safety of people around you

  • Use your manners

Responsible

Responsible is when you are award of your

own actions and are responsible for

them You are in control and take

care of your surroundings.

 

  • Bring your materials to class

  • don’t bug your neighbors when they are talking

  • Be on time to class

  • Don’t talk while someone else is talking

  • Eyes on speaker when the are talking

  • Treat others the way you want to be treated

  • Make sure that you are doing what you are supposed to be doing (stay on task)

  • Help others

  • Turn your papers in on time

  • Make sure that you focus so can use the information that you learn to help pursue your dream

Focused

 Focus is important, it is to keep everyone on

task and avoid some of the distracting

times in class. Focus is also important because

you can learn new things and become a better listener.

 

  • Eye contact

  • Eyes on the speaker

  • Do your work when told

  • Be focused on supplies that can hurt others and yourself for example, scissors, the Tech Ed Machines, and pencils

  • Bring materials and supplies that you are asked to bring

  • NO side conversations

  • Bring your homework in on time

  • Don’t fool around with stuff, when the teacher is talking

  • Don’t make tons of noise when you are supposed to be working

  • Don’t get sidetracked (including laptop distractions)
