Space Shuttle Activity

Here's some important information you need to know...

1. The model of the Space Shuttle in our classroom is 20.33 inches long.

2. The real Space Shuttle's size is a scale factor of 72, as compared to the model of the Space Shuttle in our room.

You need to figure out:

1. How long is the real Space Shuttle in inches?

2. How long is the real Space Shuttle in feet? If you need to, round to the nearest foot.

Work together, talk to each other, try ideas, and have fun. You'll learn so much just by exploring your thoughts.
